What a second week of the summer! Special events like Gold Rush and Ultimate Capture the Flag, day trips, sports tournaments, mountain climbs, leaps off of waterfalls, Nancy Tucker, Fireworks, and the rest of our incredible 4th of July traditions. Today was the 4th of July which meant it was a day of some of our favorite traditions and rituals. Lots of campers and counselors arrived at morning assembly wearing their most patriotic gear. After singing happy birthday to our friend Maddy, we raised the flag and said the Pledge of Allegiance.
Every day here has the potential to be amazing. It’s overnight camp. But with it being the 4th of July today we took this regular day and made it even more amazing with all sorts of traditions and special events.
