Recordings from our music festival at our summer camp in NH

Our campers do so many amazing things each summer. They practice for weeks in teams and play in sports tournaments against camps from around New Hampshire. They climb mountains and camp under the stars. They learn how to waterski, rock climb, and how to successfully live away from home, and they begin friendships that will last a lifetime.

They also collaborate with each other to make art projects that they never thought possible. Earlier in the week I wrote about the short film “The Underwater Counselor Lounge: The True Story” that a group of our campers worked on together for 7 weeks. Do yourself a favor and watch it if you have not yet. It’s really quite something.

Today, I am also pleased to share with you the fabulous music that our campers and counselors produced in this year’s Hollowpallooza music festival. During the 5th saturday of each summer, our community gathers for a 4+ hour concert on our soccer field we call “the Hollow”. On a massive stage, our bands and solo acts stand in front of 500 of their friends and counselors and totally rock out.

It’s absolutely amazing to watch, and a highlight of the summer for so many of our kids. Thanks to our longtime music counselor James Manigley for finishing the engineering of these tracks so quickly.

We invite you to take a listen and experience just one of the many reasons why our campers have such incredible summers.
