Ask a Camp Director About Our Summer Camp in NH

Ask a Camp Director About Our Summer Camp in NH

ask a camp director

In our most recent issue of The Scroll-Log, the online newsletter for Camps Kenwood and Evergreen in NH, we were excited to announce a new online feature: Ask a Camp Director. Throughout the year we will be scheduling online discussions with our Camp community, using our Twitter and Blog platforms. Some of these will be geared towards parents, while others will be a fun chance for current or future campers to ask us any questions that they might have about our brother-sister summer camps.

Tonight is our first Ask A Camper Director, starting at 5pm EST on Wednesday, November 27. To participate simply post a question or response in the comment section below.

Whether you were a part of our summer camp in NH last year, or are thinking about it for 2014 we invite you to be involved. Here are a couple of topics we thought that you might want to discuss, but feel free to add your own! Come join the discussion!

  • What is the latest news on the Field of Dreams?

  • Why do campers love their summers at your Camp in NH?

  • What is Winter Weekend, and what do you do at it?

  • Is the Hollowpallooza music ready to be listened to? Where do I find it?

  • When do I get to see this year’s Video Yearbook?

  • What’s the difference between a brother-sister camp and a coed camp?

  • I’ve never been to a Camp Reunion. What’s it like? Should I go even if I’m anxious?

  • I’m a little nervous about coming back to Camp. What should I do?

Also, while we know that most of our Junior campers don’t have Facebook we wanted to make sure that you knew that you can visit our page with a parent! We post pictures, movies and more almost every single day of the year. If you are curious ask a parent to show you over vacation. Each week on the Camp wall we post:

  • #CampContests – Photos from our ‘Wear your Camp Shirt’, ‘Best Camp Photo’, ‘Funniest Photo in a Camp Shirt’ and ‘Largest Camp Group Photo’ contests (for more details please see previous postings on our Facebook wall)

  • #MovieMondays – Each week we post a great Camp video, either from this past summer or from our ever-growing archive.

  • #WhereinCamp – The weekly ‘Where in camp’ photo competition that posts every Wednesday afternoon.

  • #ThrowbackThursdays – where we post photos from the last 3 decades of Camp to give you guys a chance to see what our community looked like ‘back in the day’. We also post photos from more recent summers at Camp.

  • #Nomday – This is a new feature, where we post one of Cooking Rachel’s tasty recipes from this summer’s cooking periods. Each Friday we will be challenging you to recreate these yummy dishes at home and post a photo.

And when you are hanging out with your Camp friends don’t forget to forward us your photos. We’d love to post them for everyone to see!
