A week of adventures!

A huge part of our programming at Kenwood & Evergreen involves: Hiking, canoe trips, camping out, day trips to local NH attractions and even a city break to Montreal!

This week saw a number of campers depart eagle pond road on overnight adventures.

Our eldest boys headed north to Montreal. They explored the city, shopped around at the local mall, went to the theme park, travelled down the St Lawrence river on jet boats and ate many amazing meals together.

The Evergreen 2nd years headed to Androscoggin river on a 3 day canoe trip. Cooking by the fire, making s’mores and having fun with friends was the order of the day. During the 2nd day they spent several hours canoeing down the river, and visited a local restaurant for dinner.

The Kenwood 2nd years spent the day in Ogunquit, Maine. Hanging out on the beach, and making use of the 20 boogie boards they brought from camp. In the evening they went for a lobster dinner with K&E owner Scott, before ending the day with a movie.

Evergreen Sophomore’s also had an adventure of their own as they hiked Mount Kearsarge. Before camping out in lean-to’s halfway up the mountain. They swam in the local lake, made s’mores and had a great time around the campfire!

Finally today, the Kenwood Inters/Juniors headed to sculptured rock. They had lunch on Newfound Lake and then headed 30 minutes up the road to leap off a 15ft cliff. Meanwhile the Evergreen girls headed to camp Wicosuta for a dance tournament, finishing 1st,1st and 2nd!

It’s been an action packed week already, and we are only halfway through. Below is a collection of our favorite pictures 🙂
