All winter long we look forward to our New Camper Parties.  After being away from our campers and counselors for months it’s a chance for us to see our newest members and for a few hours feel like it is Camp once again.

On Sunday we had our first pre-Camp event of the season at the Boston Rock Gym in Woburn, MA.  Eager campers and their parents joined us for a day of making new friendships, rock climbing, hanging out with cool counselors, eating pizza, and enjoying being a part of the Kenwood & Evergreen family.  It was only a couple of hours but it felt great to come together once again as a community, especially knowing that it would only be 46 more days until the start of the summer of 2012!  To see photos from this great event please click here.

Our next New Camper Party will be on Sunday, May 20^th at the NJ Rock Gym in Fairfield, NJ.  We hope to see almost 50 of our new campers and their parents at this great event!

Today is May 4th, and for some people in our community and around the world this means that it is Star Wars Day.  So in honor of the event we wanted to post a link to a song that we sing throughout the summer at Kenwood & Evergreen. It uses the characters from the films to talk about some important life lessons and the values that are an important part of the Kenwood & Evergreen community.
