Kenwood & Evergreen's Facilities
While we believe that it’s the people who define a camp, we think our excellent facilities go a long way in making Kenwood & Evergreen the extraordinary place that it is. Our campus is situated on 180 acres of forest and fields, overlooking a half-mile stretch of private lake and beaches in New Hampshire.

Bunks & Lodges

The magic of the Evergreen Lodge is that every camper in the age group lives together in one building, with separate spaces for each bunk of girls

Kenwood & Evergreen offer unique living communities for all of its age groups.  Each age group of Evergreen girls lives in their own lodge, which has multiple sleeping cabins that are linked by a spacious living room. Our girls tell us that Lodge living is The inside a typical Evergreen Bunk. Each camper has her own dresser and personal space, and the ability to decorate the area around her bed.one of the most special aspects of life at Evergreen. The communal structure of our lodges gives every girl the opportunity to develop a real relationship with every other person in the lodge, and helps to prevent cliques from developing.

All Kenwood campers between the ages of 8-10 live in small cabins that encircle a grassy quad area. During free time, campers and counselors have ample space to play catch, checkers and chess, and guitars. Each age group has its own outdoor space to gather and build a sense of communityIn Kenwood, the bunks for each age group are clustered together around a common outdoor area for running, ping pong, or having a quiet conversation with a best friend.

In every bunk in Kenwood & Evergreen, our general counselors live in the same shared space with our campers, so that they can be fully involved in the daily lives of the bunk.  Our spacious bunks and large grassy areas give our Kenwood boys both indoor and outdoor places to make strong social connections. All boys and girls bunks have 7-8 campers and 2 general counselors.
