At Camps Kenwood & Evergreen, we stand up for what is right and take care of each other. We do our best to create a community that is truly caring and encouraging, fostering an environment where campers are comfortable to explore and take healthy risks. For us, Camp should be a place where being a good friend is the highest value. Camp should also be a place where people can find their greatest successes.

The Kenwood & Evergreen Community

We want Kenwood & Evergreen to be a place that is physically and emotionally safe for all of our campers and staff, and we hold each other to higher standards to make that happen. At Camp, bullying has no place, and we commit ourselves not only to treating each other with respect and caring, but also to confronting disrespectful or hurtful behavior when we see it happen. Kenwood & Evergreen are brother/sister overnight camps located in Wilmot, in the Lake Sunapee/Dartmouth College region of New Hampshire. The relationship between Kenwood, our Boys camp, and Evergreen, our Girls camp, is unique.

Brother-Sister Camps

Each camp has its own style and traditions. As Brother-Sister camps we believe that Camps Kenwood & Evergreen strike the perfect balance between the unique camaraderie of a single-sex camp and the richness of life in a quality co-ed community. The weekday activities of both camps are separate. Most evening activities and weekend events are spent together in a dynamic where campers of different genders develop strong, age-appropriate friendships. The two camps share many facilities, including the dining hall. Siblings & relatives in opposite camps have time each day to spend with one another.
