Camps Kenwood and Evergreen are brother/sister overnight camps
located in Potter Place, in the Lake Sunapee/Dartmouth College
Region of New Hampshire. The relationship between Kenwood, our
boys camp, and Evergreen, our girls camp, is unique. Both camps
have approximately 160 campers per summer, ages 7-15, with a
combined staff of more than 175.
Most evening activities and weekend events are spent together,
and the two camps share many facilities, including the dining
hall. Each camp has its own style and traditions, and our daily
activity instruction is separate. We believe that Camps Kenwood
and Evergreen strike the perfect balance between the unique
camaraderie of a single-sex camp and richness of life in a
quality co-ed community.
Founded in 1930, Kenwood & Evergreen enjoys a reputation as one
of the premier summer experiences for children in the United States.
Better than 90% of our eligible campers and more than 75% of our
Staff return each summer. We take pride in the quality of our
staff and our commitment to instructional programming and character development.
